Jennings bows out

John Jennings who led the MBO of EPL from Laing in 2002 has left the business following the merger with Skylift and Rise Hire into EPL-Skylift.

Jennings spent a large portion of his career with John Laing Construction and heading up their plant operations until he led the MBO of EPL, forming EPL Access Ltd and running the company which was forced into administration in July.

The business was purchased by Lavendon in August with the plan being for Jennings to depart once the business was integrated.

EPL’s finance director Karl Cerski, who was also a member of the three man MBO team is also due to leave shortly.
