Tower height extension

A UK reader out for a walk this weekend Kirkburton, Huddersfield came across a man working on a tower – if not a death wish then certainly an injury wish.

No Guardails - no toeboards and an added extension

Not only had out man doing repointing work not bothered with any guardrails – but having found he needed more height he rigged up a makeshift riser, the two – we assume - plastic buckets look distinctly flexible. An accident waiting to happen.

The felixible extra reach modification

As our reader says “What gets me is he has gone to the trouble of building a scaffold in the first place! One more lift and he could have comfortably carried out this work.”

Our money is on him climbing the outside of the tower too and as for 3T.
