Structure Flex and Trans-Web merge

Resolute Holdings has merged the lifting division of its Structure-flex operation with Trans-Web its web lifting slings and safety systems manufacturer effective December first.

Oldham, UK, based Trans-Web, makes textile lifting and lashing systems and height protection equipment.

Ian Doughty, chairman of Resolute said: “To avoid duplication of effort, we made the decision to integrate Structure-flex’s lifting division with Trans-Web. As a result of this change, all lifting and safety systems previously supplied by Structure-flex are now being supplied by Trans-Web. Each company can now concentrate on its core business and continue to provide customers with exceptional products and an enhanced level of technical service and support.”

Trans-Web director, Lee Wrigley added: “All Structure-flex clients have been informed of the decision and arrangements have been made for answering technical enquiries. On the practical side, stock transfer is now complete and all financial and administration procedures have been put in place. Our aim is to continue to despatch orders on the basis of next day delivery”.
