Poclain buys Comer hydraulics
Poclain Hydraulics has taken a majority stake in the fluid power division of Comer Industries group. The division was spun off from Comer into a new company Poclain Hydraulics Industriale Srl effective yesterday.
Comer will retain a minority stake in the new company which designs and manufactures axial piston hydraulic pumps and motors for cranes, telehandlers and other mobile equipment.

The Cromer Fluid Power plant near Modena
Located in Gaggio di Piano near Modena, Italy, it employs 91 people and in 2008 generated over €15 million in revenues.
The sale of the hydraulics division was driven by Comer Industries decision to focus on and expand its core business of mechanical transmissions and mechatronic solutions for industrial machines and wind turbines.
