Grove City crane arrives in Germany
Grove has delivered one of its new 45 tonne, GCK3045 City type All Terrain cranes to Hamburg, based crane rental company KSG Kranservice.
The GCK3045 was unveiled at Intermat last year with the first unit destined for the Netherlands. Developed in co-operation with Kobelco, its single operators cab and compact dimensions target the City All Terrain market previously dominated by Terex.

Lutz Seidler, an operator at KSG, added:” We have experience with single cab cranes from other brands, but a number of factors persuaded us to go with the Grove. It is very easy to manoeuvre and is easy to use, even in the tightest job sites thanks to features such as variable outrigger settings allow us to be more flexible on cramped jobsites.”
Thorsten Dietzel, Manitowoc’s sales manager for northern Germany, said: “We’re very pleased that KSG has taken this GCK3045. The company has good experience in this crane category and did a lot of research when looking to replace one of its cranes.”
