Speedy adds more low level access

UK based rental company Speedy Hire has placed a substantial seven figure order for Custom Equipment’s Hy-Brid scissor lifts. The deal is thought to include a large number of the new 8ft/2.4m platform height S830.

The order was placed with UK distributor r2 Access during this years Rental Show at the American Rental Association’s annual convention in Orlando, Florida.

The deal with is said to run into seven figures will see the UK company boost its fleet following a successful evaluation period having purchased a number of Custom’s Hy-Brid 1030 last year.

Custom Equipment of Wisconsin is already stepping up production of the CE models for delivery as soon as possible. The transaction follows on from two other low level orders announced last week for over 300 Pop-Up push around lifts and 60 Power Tower Nano SPs.
