New MD for Modulift

Modulift, the UK based modular spreader beam company, has appointed Sarah Spivey as managing director with plans to make expansion of the company a priority. Modulift’s owner Nick Latham remains as a director.

Spivey said: “I’m delighted to be offered this opportunity to take the company forward. It’s an exciting time for Modulift as we are launching a new rental division, offering lifting equipment for heavy lifts up to 1,000 tonnes for rent from periods of one week to one year and beyond.”

“At the same time we are expanding the engineering division in order to concentrate on research and product development as the number of enquiries for custom designed products continues to grow.”

“Implementing our growth strategy with these new divisions along with the development of our distributor channels around the world presents a real challenge, something which I am greatly looking forward to.”
