Up a pole in Italy

From a reader in Italy here is a photo taken last month as a man worked on overhead lines from a ladder, not the first time that we have seen that, but for some reason, probably due to the ladder angle he needed to reach the top of the pole, he was working form the wrong side.

A man up a pole between Modena and Bologna

The pictures were taken by the road in Crevalcore between Bologna and Modena.
The man appears to working alone but has all the gear, including a hard hat and hi-viz vest. He is obviously a good climber, but hardly an efficient of safe form of access.
