Italian spider lift manufacturer Bluelift will launch a new 22 metre spider lift at Bauma, the C22/11. The new model will feature a dual parallelogram riser, with telescopic top boom and articulated jib.
The new lift will have a gross weight of around three tonnes, and maximum outreach of 11 metres with a 200 kg lift capacity. The jib has 110 degrees of articulation, while the platform has 160 degrees of rotation.
Stowed dimensions are 900 mm overall width by 5.2 metres overall length, that can be reduced to 4.5 metres if the basket is removed. Overall height is 1.98 metres.
Standard features will include:
- Extendible tracks for normal travel, ground clearance is also increased
- Auto level outriggers with three main set up positions in addition to that of transport.
- Radio remote controls, incorporating a diagnostic display console
- Honda power pack with AC electric motor for indoor use, an optional diesel engine is also available.
There are a number of 22 to 24 metre compact tracked spider lifts ready for launch at Bauma, all following success of the 23 metre Hinowa and looking to win some of the business previously reserved for the large spider manufacturers such as Teupen.
One thing is for sure, all of these new products will have a significant impact on the size of this sector of the spider lift market. It is also likely to bring prices thanks to the extra competition. Bluelift is a low volume high quality producer and is likely to have its sights set on Teupen rather than its Italian compatriots.
