New sales manager at Kranlyft UK

Kranlyft, the European region master distributor for Maeda spider and mini cranes has appointed Tim Williams as UK sales manager. Williams takes over from Kevin Bell who will be concentrating on the French market prior to his planned retirement sometime next year.

Williams has over 25 years experience in the UK crane and equipment rental market, having worked in sales and operational management positions with a number of companies including Gordon Sparrow Crane Hire and then Ainscough Crane Hire after it acquired the former, VP (formerly Vibroplant), David Meek and most recently Bristol based Sparrow Crane Hire.

Kranlyft is also the distributor for Kato cranes, for which it still handles parts sales and product support. However the sale and support of Maeda products is its principle business these days.
