JLG 1850SJ for JMS

UK rental company JMS has ordered a new 185ft JLG boom lift to top out its fleet of large booms.

The new machine has been scheduled for a February delivery and will top a fleet now said to be 1,000 units strong. The large boom fleet currently includes 20 80ft units and 12 boom over 100ft, the largest of which is a Genie Z135/70.

Tim Kendall of JMS said: "This now takes our powered access fleet to over 1,000 machines from our Radlet, Leeds and Harpenden locations. We are committed to our customers in providing them with the newest, innovative, practical and safest machines on the market, to make their work as easy as possible when working at height.”

As far as we know this unit will be the fifth in the UK, joining Kardon Kontracts four units, which were among the first units to be ordered, back in March.
