New mini cranes from Brennero

Italian manufacturer Brennero Gru will unveil new tracked mini cranes at Bauma under the BG Lift brand,

The key new products are the BG Lift M300 a three tonne capacity spider crane with telescopic articulated jib. The new crane features a two section four metre main boom which offers a maximum tip height of 5.7 metres, at which it can lift 2.5 tonnes. Maximum radius is 3.2 metres – with the boom horizontal, at which it can lift 1,400kg. An optional 3.5 metre three section jib luffs 75 degrees- from in line with the boom to horizontal when the boom is fully elevated.

The new three tonne BG Lift M300 spider crane

Maximum tip height with the jib is just over nine metres, while maxium radius is almost seven metres at which it can lift 720 kg. The M300 has an overall length of 2.7 metres as standard and 2.9 metres with jib, the overall width is 780mm for passage through standard single doors. The tracks extend to 1.18 metres for greater stability when travelling. Overall weight for the standard base crane is just over two tonnes. Power comes from a Yanmar diesel, with an option of a petrol/gas engine or AC electric motor for indoor use,

A longer boom version,of the M300 - the 2.5 tonne M250 with a four section boom will also be available with or without the jib. All machines can be fitted with optional winches.

The BG Lift M250 has a four section boom plus optional three section jib

The second major new crane is the 580kg BG Lift M060 tracked mini carry deck crane. The unit has a three section 3.5 metre boom, which offers a 4.25 metre tip height with a capacity of 320kg and maximum radius of three metres- or two metres in front of the bumper at which it can lift 240kg. Overall length is 1.78 metres, with an overall width of 780mm, which can be extended to 1.1 metres for greater stability. Overall height is just 1.44 metres.

The BG Lift M60 pick & carry crane

The pedestrian controlled MO60 has a slew ring and offers 25 degrees of slew either side of centre. Overall weight is just 890kg, and 200kg of counterweight can be easily removed. The crane can also be removed from the tracked undercarriage and replaced with a bulk material cargo deck converting it to a type of mini dumper. Power comes from a Honda petrol /gas engine with dual power option when combined with an AC electric motor.

Other new products on show will be a lighter, more compact version of the company’s 14.5 tonne capacity CWE 525 spider crane, the new CWE 465– both of which are basically an articulated loader crane on a tracked chassis.,
