Four new platforms from Ruthmann

German truck mounted lift manufacturer Ruthmann will unveil four new models at Bauma next week, in what it is describing as its High flex series.

The most revolutionary is probably the 51 metre T510 HF on an 18 tonne two axle chassis, setting a new record for the height available on two axles. In spite of the light truck, it offers a very respectable 33 metres of outreach

The 57 metre T 570 HF is mounted on a 26 tonne three axle chassis, with 41 metres of outreach. The new machines appear to have a new jib which offers a high degree of platform rotation, possibly up to 360 degrees to match the Palfinger X-Jib? We will find out more at Bauma.

The other two models also belong to the company’s Height Performance range. The 65 metre T650 HF on a four axle chassis offers 41 metres of outreach as does the 75 metre and T 750 HF. The company has not released any further details on the new machines, but claims that they are class leading. With neither Palfinger or Ruthmann giving any details away, we will have to draw comparisons on the big machines at the show itself.

This steps up the battle in the 70 to 75 metre sector three brand new machines being launched at the show, with the Bronto S-70XR on two axles and the Palfinger P750 with its X-Jib. So plenty to consider.

Ho Ho Ho!!!
As happened at last years APEX, evertime Palfinger launch something exciting, Ruthmann produce a couple of drawings and say 'We got one too' No better form of flattery than copying. Keep 'em on the run Palfinger. Last year as soon as Palfinger announced the P480, Ruthman said they had one too. Soon as Palfinger announce the 65 and 75m units Ruthman produce a few sketches and say we've got one too.
