New ops manager for Riwal UK

Aerial lift and telehandler rental company Riwal UK has appointed a new operations manager - Matt Fisher. He joins the company from APL Aerial Platforms where he has held a similar position for the past seven months. In his new role he will head up UK operations which include transport, technical, health & safety, environmental issues and quality control.

Fisher began his career in 2006 as a hire desk controller with rental group Hewden, but moved to AFI-Uplift the following year to become depot operations controller for its Bolton depot. After almost six years he was promoted to regional operations manager for the greater Manchester and Liverpool region and Birmingham depots. He then made the move to APL last year.
