United sells Mexican location

United Rentals has sold its single location in Mexico to Dallas, Texas based Briggs International.

Briggs will integrate the Nueva Leon, Monterey location with its own material handling business which sells and rents Yale fork trucks. The United branch which is located close to the US border is a general construction equipment location.

The deal follows the recent acquisition by Briggs of Maquinaira Ligera Equinter and takes the number of locations to 10 with around 600 employees.
