New CEO for Nooteboom

Benno Hüsken has been appointed CEO of the Nooteboom Group, effective immediately, taking over from Marc de Leeuw.

Hüsken, 62, is already a Nooteboom board member and has spent a good deal of his career in the automotive sector, including a spell at DAF.

The change at the top will not signal a change in strategy, the company says that it will continue on the course set out by de Leeuw.

The Dutch based company is best known for its trailers, including those used to move cranes and deliver access equipment, while its special trailers include a range of transporters for the wind energy market.

The company is also a leading player in the heavy/abnormal load market with capacities of up to 1,000 tonnes.
