Rami acquires in Czech Republic

Finnish based international rental company Ramirent has acquired the staff, machinery and equipment rental business of NTC Stavební Tecnika spol. s r.o.in the Czech Republic.

Founded in 1991 NTC provides Rami with three additional locations in Hradec Králove, Pardubice and Ceska Skalice, along with seven employees. The NTC operations will be consolidated into Ramirent on 1st July. The purchase price was not disclosed.

The company which also sells and supports construction equipment is largely focussed on compaction equipment, small generators and compact excavators.

Tomasz Walawender, senior vice president of Ramirent Europe Central said: “The acquisition is in line with Ramirent's strategy of developing a nation-wide coverage in its markets. NTC has a geographical presence which complements our existing network and brings us closer to our customers in the East Bohemia region. I warmly welcome NTC's employees into the Ramirent family”.
