Window cleaning in Oz

A window cleaning company in rural Victoria wrote to us yesterday saying how delighted it is with its new spider lift.

This is an unusual news story, but we could not help getting swept up with the sheer enthusiasm expressed by the reader from Newborough, Victoria, Australia, who having purchased the first aerial lift for his company, a Teupen Leo GT13, along with a purpose built trailer to transport it, wanted to say how fantastic it was.

Have lift will travel

We have long maintained that small spider lifts are ideal lifts for tradesmen that regularly need to work at height on single family homes and small commercial buildings. So the message struck a chord.

The company is X-treme Window Cleaning of Newborough to the east of Melbourne. In the words of owner Wiston Xuereb: “I have this machine and love it, I have a small window cleaning business in country Victoria Australia, employing between five and seven staff, I purchased this ewp only three weeks ago, it took five months to arrive here”

Working on a private house - once again needs a set of mats

It seems that the company has used aerial lifts in the past for larger jobs, looking at its web site, mostly truck mounted lifts. So it is easy to understand how the versatility of the spider lift is such a breath of fresh air. The company works on anything from the smallest cottage upwards.
