New flagship for Crowland
UK based Crowland cranes has purchased a new 220 tonne Tadano-Faun ATF220G-5, the largest crane in its 19 unit fleet.
The new crane, which replaces a 180 tonne five axle Grove GMK5180, was delivered to Peterborough based company last week, by Tadano’s distributor Cranes UK.

Crowland said that it selected the Tadano based on its past experience with service and reliability of the brand and is the fifth Tadano crane, including truck mounts and All Terrains, in its fleet
It said that it also appreciated the five axle crane’s capability, including the flexibility that allows it go out on jobs for 100 to 220 tonne cranes. The company cites the AFT220’s ability to take 6.7 tonnes out to a radius of 50 metres or handle 1.4 tonnes at 84 metres.
