More details on Ruthmann T330

German truck mounted lift manufacturer Ruthmann has provided a more details and a sketch of the 33 metre T330 that it plans to launch at CeMat in Hanover this May.

The new lift will be mounted on a 7.49 tonne truck and will offer not only 33 metres of working height but also up to 21 metres of outreach. The company says that a key feature of the T-330 is its “ultra-modern boom design” - a four section telescopic main boom with profiled/tucked under jib design. While the boom design is new, it uses existing technology, with some boom sections featuring the same single seam construction as used on the recently introduced TB270 boom.

The new Ruthmann T-330 comes in under 7.5 tonnes

The four section boom design also provides compact overall length – handy when working in congested urban areas. The platform design is completely new and has a capacity of 320kg, with enough room in the cage to accommodate up to three people and their tools.

Ruthmann says that in the spite of the fact that they prototype is barely complete it has already booked a significant number of orders for the T-330 and that it expects the under 7.5 tonne Gross Vehicle Weight version to appeal to a wide number of European customers.
