Coates acquires Tru Blu

Australian based Coates Hire has acquired Perth, Western Australia based Tru Blu Hire from owner David Harders.

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission is open to the submission of any objections until the end of this week, before giving any approval. Coates Hire is itself 46 percent-owned by National Hire Group.
National Hire managing director Andrew Aitken said: "Tru Blu is a good company and part of Coates' growth aspirations". No details of the deal have been disclosed.

Tru Blu was founded by Harders in 1994 and offers a wide range of equipment from 22 locations in Western and South Australia, including some lifting gear and a full range of access equipment, including scaffold, trailer lifts, scissors and booms. The majority of its booms and scissors are Genie.
