Kimberly moves into Durham
Kimberly Access part of the Harrogate UK based Kimberly group is opening a new purpose built depot in Durham on 3rd October.
Located at Newton Aycliffe, Kimberly says that the new depot is strategically placed to serve the whole of the North East from Newcastle to Teesside.
The company has appointed Sharon Alpay, who has 15 years of experience in the business, as regional manager North East.
Kimberly chairman Ray Ledger said: “this important opening is part of a strategy to establish a national footprint either organically or by acquisition. the next short term targeted locations are Aberdeen and Cardiff which should be open in early 2012.
The Kimberly Group has also completed the implementation of it national IT system now operated by all of the group businesses. The new system is Syrinx, supplied by Higher Concept together with a cloud based accounting, email and network package supplied by TSG.
“This new system is already demonstrating operational efficiencies which will be customer focussed and is designed to be scalable for future acquisitions and depot growth” added Ledger.
