Another Multitel for Midland

UK based truck mounted lift rental company Midland Truck Mounts has purchased a 27 metres Multitel MX270.

The new lift on a 7.5 ton Mitsubishi Canter chassis joins a 22.5 metre Multitel MX225 that the Leicestershire company bought in January. Midland has taken the ‘standard’ version of the MX270 with in line/straight down outriggers at the front and narrow fold out outriggers at the rear, offering up to 13.3 metres of outreach from a compact base.

The alternative, the MX270EX, has H-frame outriggers at the rear as opposed to the fold out. Allowing the entire unit to jack within its own width, while still offering up to 11 metres of outreach.

Martin Rickmann managing director of Midland Truck Mounts said: “following the success of the MX 225, the positive feedback and high level of acceptance and enthusiasm from our customers we had no hesitation in adding the MX 270 to our fleet”.
