Lavendon stays safe

The UK arm of international access rental company Lavendon has retained its SAFEcontractor certification

The accreditation, which is aimed to reassure large contractors and other companies that the suppliers they use are fully signed up to a safe culture of work, with systems and controls in place to help ensure consistency, is subject to a renewal and a regular audit.

Lavendon Access Services UK health safety and environmental manager Mark Keily said: “By retaining our accreditation we continue to demonstrate our commitment to upholding the high health and safety standards we have set ourselves across all our UK operations.”

John Kinge, head of risk at SAFEcontractor said: "More companies need to understand the importance of adopting good risk management in the way that Lavendon Access Services has done. The firm’s high standard has set an example, which hopefully will be followed by other companies within the sector".
