Warren Access adds spider lift

UK based Warren Access recently held an open day at its Newcastle upon Tyne headquarters at which it showed its first spider lift model an 18 metre Teupen Leo 18GT.

The family owned company which specialises in van and truck mounted platform rental has decided to test the spider lift market in its first departure from vehicle mounted lifts.

Warren Access had a successful open day despite the bad weather


The company moved into new premises last year and has added to both staff and rental fleet which now totals 30 untis. Customer feedback requesting a machine that could be used anywhere led to the investment in the Teupen.

“We were delighted to have been able to demonstrate the versatility of the spider to not one, but two mayors at our open day,” said partner Michelle Warren. “We do a lot of work with the local authorities and now we can demonstrate to North Tyneside’s mayor, Linda Arkley and Gateshead’s mayor Joe Michinson how we can get the spider lift into places where conventional equipment simply won’t fit.”

The specially iced cup cakes went down very well!


Also at the open day were Orange Plant, Spanset, IPAF, Ranger and St Oswalds and all contributed to the local fund raising by means of a raffle.
