A Bafta for a Riley

Harley Bird, daughter of UK GGR Unic’s joint owner Gill Riley, has won this year’s Bafta (British Academy of Film and Television Arts) award for performer in a children’s programme, for her role as the voice of Peppa Pig.

GGR Unic is the European master distributor for Unic Cranes and the UK distributor for Galizia pick & Carry cranes. Both of Riley’s daughters have hit the big time at a young age when it comes to Television. Harley, the elder of the two, was one of four nominated for the Bafta and attended the award ceremony with her parents last night.

Her younger sister Olivia Riley has a starring role in BBC2's critically acclaimed comedy 'Rev'. Both children appeared on the regional BBC news last week following the Bafta nomination.
