ADP Sollevamenti has taken the first Grove GMK6300L in Italy
Launched at Bauma last year, production of the six axle 6300L began earlier this year, the crane features an 80 metre main boom, combined with a strong load chart for its size. There are two jibs available to enhance the main boom’s impressive capabilities. A 37 metre can extend the maximum tip height to 120 metres, at which the crane can still lift 2.1 tonnes. The crane is also fitted with Manitowoc’s CraneSTAR remote monitoring system.
Antonio Di Palma, owner of ADP Sollevamenti said: “I chose the GMK6300L because it is simple to transport, easy to operate and offers industry-leading capabilities. The crane has few limitations and is relatively compact for its size. There is great potential for it in wind farm maintenance, and it is versatile for a range of general rental projects.”
