Camillo Vismara gains IPAF Rental+

Swiss Italian crane and access rental company Camillo Vismara has become the first non-British company to gain IPAF Rental+ accreditation in Europe.

Camillo Vismara, based north of Lugano, is also has an IPAF approved training centre, is part of the Vismara Group, which has been in the lifting business for over 50 years.

The company was already ISO:9000 certified, so it decided that a natural step would be to align its organisational practices and procedures with the standards within IPAF Rental+ on the basis that it relates better to it aerial lift business. Having modified its procedures to come in line with the IPAF standard, the company rental passed the audit process and gained full certification as an IPAF Rental + business.

IPAF Rental + is a voluntary, audited, higher quality standard, to which all IPAF members can aspire.


The company says that as the IPAF quality mark is specifically aimed at the aerial lift renal business, it pinpoints specific details and processes compared to the more generic ISO standards, but is also complimentary to the 9000 standard.
