Coughlan exits UpRight

John Coughlan, President and General Manager of UpRight International Ltd has left the company effective immediately.

No one at UpRight was available to comment yesterday evening, immediately following the development a statement has now been issued.

The statement now released is as follows:

"Upright International announced today that John Coughlan, President and General Manager, has submitted his resignation to the company".

"The Board has initiated a search to fill Mr. Coughlan's position and announced that Mr. Noel Corcoran, a long time member of the Board, shall assume the role of interim General Manager until a replacement has been appointed".

Coughlan joined UpRight around 18 months ago to run the European operation and was propelled into the top job some two months later after Ian Menzies departure. Since then he has been busy setting up the new production plant in Mexico and restructuring the business.
