The new Haulotte HT23RTJ

The 4x4x4 wheel drive/steer boom lift is said to have ‘best in class’ in terms of manoeuvrability with a standard oscillating, compact dimensions and a differential lock. Lift speed to full height is 53 seconds. The unit is powered by a Kubota diesel with Sauer, Bosch and Hydraforce hydraulics.

The unit is also the first to have Haulotte’s new modular platform which is said to be easy and cost effective to repair.

The HT23RTJ will be available in Europe and North America from October 2012.

Vertikal Comment

With very little information, coupled with the fact that this is a prototype it is hard to compare it with other products on the market. However the high lift capacity at 450kg will appeal for some applcations, while the longer jib - most are 1.5 to 1.8 metres - will also offer some advantages.

On the surface it looks to be a very 'handy' new product.
