JLG appoint new General Manager for the UK

JLG has appointed Simon Cracknell to the post of General Manager JLG UK, he will be based at the company’s new Middleton facility and be responsible for all activities within the UK and Irish markets.

Cracknell joins JLG from Finning (UK) Ltd where he held various positions in Product management, sales and rental areas of the compact equipment division which includes telehandlers. Prior to Finning he worked with Leverton the other UK CAT distributor that was acquired by Finning in 1998. In all he has spent 18 years with the two companies.

This appointment is a new role replacing the split responsibilities of Andrew Fishburn and Stuart Honeywood, who both left last year to join the Management Buy In team at Wizard Workspace when it took over Independent Access Supplies. The UK was the only JLG distribution business that did not have an overall General Manager.
