AFI gains Achilles 5 Star

UK access rental company AFI has achieved a five star Achilles ‘BuildingConfidence’ rating following a recent reassessment.

So far just five percent of Achilles accredited companies have gained the new five star status, which is only awarded to suppliers who comply with all aspects of the certification for two or more consecutive years.

To gain the regular Achilles accreditation, companies have to demonstrate a high level of competence in the areas of health and safety, quality assurance and control, environmental management, business continuity, sub-contractor and supplier management, social and ethical controls and plant and equipment management.

AFI health, safety, environment and quality director Austin Baker said: “We are delighted to have passed our reassessment for the fifth consecutive year and in doing so to gain the top five star rating. This tremendous achievement demonstrates a commitment to our customers and provides them with additional assurance when working with us.”
