Two more Palfinger cranes

Palfinger will launch the PK 36502 and PK 41002 EH loader crane additions to its High Performance range in September.

The PK 36502 and PK 41002EH will have load moments of 34.5 and 38.4 tonne/metres respectively. Both can be equipped with up to six hydraulic extensions offering a reach of 16.3 metres.

The new 34.5 tonne/metre PK 36502

Palfinger’s Power Link Plus provides constant lifting power over the entire working range while the reverse linkage boom can be angled upwards by 15 degrees. Other features include a maintenance-free boom, double rack and pinion slewing system and the E-HPLS system which reduces working speeds at high load moments to increase lifting power.

They also feature Palfinger’s HPSC which monitors the position of the vehicle’s outriggers in order to obtain the optimum lifting capability from every position.

The new 38.4 tonne/metre PK 41002 EH loader crane

The company said that demand for faster - safe operation are what drove the development of the new models - which are set to be unveiled at the Hannover based IAA trade show in September.
