Irish win all

On day two of SED, the rain held off and the Hiab-Vertikal challenge £100 cash prize was won by Con O’Connel of Con O’Connel Crane & Truck Hire from County Cork.

The last contestant of the day Con O'Connel, stole the first prize from under the nose of the runner up, with a time of one minute 53 seconds. As runner up Derek Shwartau of Dolphin Haulage also from County Cork looked on in dismay as his time of two minutes and 18 seconds was beaten.

Day one Hiab-Vertikal Challenge winners.

Alan Bates from Mitchells of Horley Ltd, was the first day Champion, winning £100 in cash with an amazing time of one minute and 35 seconds.
Runner up was Andy Campbell of Millenium lifting with a time of two minutes and 30 seconds.
