JMG expands production

Italian pick & carry crane company JMG is expanding into a second production hall at its plant in Saramato, near Piacenza.

Work on the new 4,000 square metre facility will be completed this month, with the company moving in during the first weeks of January. The new building is located on a 7,000 square metre plot providing a decent amount of outside yard space.

JMG's new building has 4,000 square metres under cover

The company’s existing facility, from which it has been operating since its launch in late 2009 will in future be dedicated to maintenance and product support.

The new building has been constructed with an eye for the environment and energy efficiency. A photovoltaic solar power system is expected to provide enough energy to satisfy the company’s power needs, while under floor heating has been installed throughout.

An official launch of the new premises is planned for late spring.
