Big Genie on the way

There has been talk for some time about a new Genie super boom for launch at Bauma, and possibly a month or two earlier at the ARA Rental show.

Expected to be the largest self-propelled boom ever, details remain private and we certainly do not want to spoil the launch plans. However could the photographs we have received show that the exciting new machine is now in the iron?

The new boom S series Genie boom??

Expect the new machine to be in the region of 170ft and to use an extending swing out X- frame chassis design similar in concept to that of the Z135/70. As to a name? how about SX-170?
