Skyjack SJ63AJ goes into production
Skyjack’s 63ft SJ 63AJ articulated Rough Terrain boom has gone into production on schedule, less than a year after the preliminary prototype was unveiled at last year’s ARA/Rental show.

Some of the first production units will go on display at both this year’s ARA and Bauma trade shows in February and April respectively.

The Skyjack SJ63AJ
The SJ 63AJ has a platform height of 63.5ft for a working height of 21.3 metres, and offers up and over clearance of 8.3 metres with up to 12.2 metres of outreach.
The open centre/over centre sigma type riser provides the SJ 63AJ with a stowed height of 2.54 metres and below ground reach. Overall machine weight is 9.6 tonnes, allowing two units to be carried on a standard 20 tonne capacity trailer.

The Skyjack SJ63AJ has an open centre/overcentre riser linkage, telescopic boom and jib
Other features include differential locks on the axle drive system, direction sensing drive and steer controls which ensures the controls are always in the orientation of the operator, regardless of superstructure position in relation to the chassis and two year warranty.
