Sandhurst moves into Access
In the UK excavator attachment rental company Sandhurst has invested £3 million in a new access rental division.
The company is based in Rochester, Kent with six other locations across the UK. It has employed two HSS executives – Steven Sutch and Jason Hardwicke to head up the new activity and has invested in a range of products from low level podiums to 41 metre JLG 1350SJP boom lift. Other suppliers include Skyjack, Niftylift and Haulotte.
The company initially set up a pilot depot in the South East and has now decided that the results justify a full ‘roll-out’. Having set up its systems and initial inventory it has moved into a 5,600 square metre/60,000 Sqft facility at the company’s Rochester site which includes a rental hub and training centre for the South East and London.
