New VP for Tadano America

Tadano America has appointed Jay Shiffler as vice president general manager of marketing.

In his new role he will be responsible for directing all of the the marketing for the company’s Rough Terrain and All Terrain cranes in the region and will report to Tadano America president Yo Kakinuma.

Prior to joining Tadano, Shiffler had a nine year stint as vice president of business development at crane repair and renovation specialist Wheco. Before that he was vice president of sales and marketing at Manitex and was general manager of sales for Kobelco America. He started his crane career in 1979 with Link-Belt.

“I am very excited to return to the manufacturing realm of the crane business, where I started my career,” said Shiffler. “I have always been impressed with the quality of Tadano cranes and the brand loyalty they receive.
