Duffy crane sold

Duffy Crane and Haulage Inc, of Denver Colorado, a family owned crane hirer that was founded in 1886, has announced that it is being bought by a local investor group led by Jeffrey Cummings.

The purchase price has not been disclosed. The buyer plans to continue running Duffy, on the same basis, the company offers specialized crane, rigging and heavy haul services.

The Duffy family has operated the business for several generations. Kathleen and Connie Duffy took over the company in 2003 upon the death of their father, Jim.
