Mills to spend $71 million on AWP

Brazilian scaffolder and rental company Mills Estruturas e Serviços de Engenharia has confirmed that its total capital expenditure budget for rental equipment in 2014 will be R231 million ($96 million).

Of this R169 million ($71 million) will be spent on the rental division, which is almost entirely made up of aerial lifts and telehandlers. The balance will be spent on heavy construction and real estate.

The company says that it will evaluate whether to increase these investments as the year progresses, in accordance with market opportunities, mainly those related to auctions in the infrastructure sector. It claims that the time between taking such a decision and receiving the equipment is around 90 days.
