Speedy edges up

UK based rental company Speedy has posted full year results with profits up five percent on flat revenues.

Total revenues increased 2.9 percent to £349.7 million, with the UK up just over two percent to £328.1 million, thanks to a stronger second half – up over five percent - after a one percent decline in the first half. The International division posted strong gains up 16 percent to £21.6 million.

Pre-tax profits improved almost five percent £32.7 million and would have been over £4 million higher had it not been for the £4 million plus write off in the International division.
