Dummy in a boom lift

A video has been made of a person driving a stowed boom lift over an obstacle to cause a catapult effect.

The effect is to replicate the IPAF harness/short lanyard demonstration that it has organised at trade shows using a dummy. The result is no surprise, except the live dummy in this platform might have luckily escaped with his life - in the past others have not.

If you ever doubted how serious the catapult effect can be when doing something like unloading a boom lift from a truck this video, while stupid, does demonstrate it dramatically. Definitely one for our Death Wish series.

The platform is clearly owned by German rental company Kreutzberger of Kiel, we do not know at this stage if this was done by its staff or someone who had rented the machine.
