Bobcat appoints district manager

Bobcat has appointed Werner Purkart as district manager for Southern Germany. He is now responsible for customer service and the development and expansion of the dealer network.

Purkart has spent the last 13 years with Terex/Schaeff where he was most recently business manager for Southern Germany. Before that he worked for Ungeheuer Baumaschinen (Monster Construction).

Purkart said: “The image of the Bobcat brand, the quality and performance of the machines are impressive. Whether excavators, loaders or telehandlers - in all categories, we are among the top providers and I am sure that we can expand our market position even further.”
