Need a scissor lift?
Spotted by a reader in Peterhead, Scotland, several men working at height but not using the access equipment provided.
Although two men can be seen making full use of a boom lift, taking advantage of the benefits that comes with aerial lifts, the other two clearly haven’t got the message. Both are standing at a height of three or four metres on narrow steel beams, one removing materials from a telehandler. With no fall or edge protection, you cannot help but wonder why they don’t just use the scissor lift?
As our correspondent correctly points out: “Despite the use of access equipment onsite they still haven’t got everything right.”
