Rental show launch for new Skyjack scissors

Skyjack will launch two new compact rough terrain scissor lifts at the ARA/Rental show in February. Designated the 6826 and 6832 RT, the new models are 1.73 metres /(68 inches) wide with 26ft (8m) and 32ft (9.7m) platform heights respectively.

The new models offer standard four wheel drive with cross over flow dividers and a 1.2 metre roll out deck extension, drive at full height and Up to 565kgs lift capacity

one option that will be essential in Europe is the leveling jacks with auto-level facility.

“The new Compact RT Series will address customer demand for a low cost, compact, versatile rough terrain unit. This marks the birth of a new generation of Skyjack, it has all of the performance that users have come to expect with all of the industry leading reliability, durability and serviceability, at a price that will help combat today’s competitive rental
rates,”.

The new units will start shipping towards the end of the first quarter of 2006 for the North American market and mid year for the CE version for Europe.
