The nine axle LG 1800-1.0 is designed for wind turbine installation and builds on the LG1750's design. It can travel with all four outrigger beams at 10 tonne axle loads. While using the same swing-out design as its predecessor, the new crane features fixed rather than variable outrigger beams to reduce weight. Removing two beams reduces overall weight to 70 tonnes - or eight tonnes per axle - while removing all beams brings it down to 50 tonnes.
