Hertz appoints new CEO
Hertz has appointed John Tague as its chief executive, after a search for a replacement for Mark Frissora
Tague takes over from Hertz Equipment Rental chief executive, Brian MacDonald who was appointed on an interim basis following the departure of Frissora – see:

Prior to joining Hertz, Tague was chief financial officer at transportation provider Greatwide Logistics Services where he also served as the chairman of Cardinal Logistics Holdings. As well as spending time with Choice Hotels International and Reddy Ice, Tague also spent eight years at United Airlines and UAL Corporation, where he served as president of United Airlines and executive vice president of UAL until United’s merger with Continental Airlines in 2010. Prior to United Airlines he also worked, as chief executive of ATA Airlines.
