Terex opens Benelux crane sales office

Terex Cranes is opening a new sales office for Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg this week.

The company says “These countries are important markets for the Terex Demag and PPM product range and require specific attention”.

The office is located in Moerdijk, Holland, to the south of Breda and close to the Belgian border. The office will provide sales and service including spare parts for Terex Demag/PPM and Bendini telescopic and lattice boom cranes..

The objective of the new office is to provide a faster response for customers in the region says Terex.

Of the 12 staff 10 are employed in the service department, the other two are Didier Vogels, area sales manager for Belgium and Luxembourg and John Scholtens, area sales manager for the Netherlands the third manager based in the new office is Martin Maasakkers, service manager for Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg..

“Service engineers are located throughout the region to provide optimum coverage of the area, enabling fast and hassle-free support for all needs concerning Terex cranes in the three countries”, says Terex..

This office is part of the Terex crane strategy to establish local sales and service operations, the company opened similar operations with other Terex companies in Brazil and South Africa during 2005.
