Manitowoc appoints three Operations VP’s

The Manitowoc Crane Group has announced the appointment of three new regional senior vice presidents of operations, responsible for manufacturing and engineering in their respective areas.

The three are:

Chuck Mogged, who will be responsible for The Americas;

Denis François, who will be responsible for Europe, the Middle East and Africa;

and Derek Oh, who will manage operations in Asia-Pacific.

Each of the new men will report directly to their regional executive vice president:
-John Wheeler for the Americas;
-Philippe Cohet for Europe and
-Eric Etchart for Asia-Pacific.

Denis François who will head operations in the European region has over 25 years experience in senior management, mostly in the automotive sector. He most recently served as vice president of sourcing at the corporate level for Faurecia a supplier of automotive modules. He speaks fluent French and English and will be based at the regional Manitowoc headquarters in Ecully, France.

We’re building more cranes than ever and developing more new models, now we need to make sure we stay at the very top of our game by leading the way in terms of manufacturing operations in the lifting industry, and that’s exactly what Chuck Denis and Derek – and their teams – will be doing.”
